Human Resources Generalist

Polamer Precision is seeking a Human Resources Generalist. The HR Generalist will support the Human Resources department and will report to the Office Director. This position requires an individual who will display a high level of confidentiality and discretion in managing human recourse initiatives.

- Take an active role in understanding the business and employee issues company wide
- Ensure that HR policies and processes are consequently administered both in the department and companywide
- Record and manage employee information such as, but not limited to, personal data, i.e. compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance evaluations and termination information.
- Clearly present information and prepare reports for Office Director
- Actively participate in policy and procedure development
- Perform a wide variety of tasks; the ability to change focus quickly as demands change is essential
- Display honest, trustworthy and ethical behavior when dealing with internal and external
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes and serve as a backup if needed
- Maintains HR information system records and compiles reports from the database
- Assist to establish department measurements that support the accomplishment of the company's strategic goal
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefit laws of regulations
- Display honest, trustworthy and ethical behavior when dealing with internal and external
- Regular attendance that is punctual and dependable is required
- Onboarding process responsibilities
- Assist other HR related duties as assigned by Office Director

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suit, PLEX ERP a plus
- Aptitude in problem solving
- Team player, excellent organizational skills
- 3-5 years' experience in human recourse positions
- Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred.
- Educational Requirements: HR Applicants require a bachelor's degree in human recourses related field, or extensive prior experience in human recourses.
